Seattle Humane is a nonprofit animal shelter that has sought to save and serve pets in need across the Pacific Northwest since its establishment in 1897. They offer services such as veterinary care, animal training, food and supply banks, and end of life care to ensure that every animal receives the high standard of care and attention they deserve.
As a Partner Engagement Consultant for Seattle Humane, I provide strategic direction and tactics directly to directors and board members as they plan partnership events and activations for the upcoming World Cup 2026 games taking place in Seattle.
Dr. Judith Grant Long is an associate professor of Sport Management and Urban Planning at the University of Michigan. She is an internationally recognized expert on the planning and financing of sport and tourism venues and has published several books on the topic, including Public-Private Partnerships for Major League Sports Facilities and Olympic Infrastructures.
As a Research and Teaching Assistant for Dr. Long, I wrote case studies and assembled data tables of professional sports venues across the United States for use as references in her upcoming book. Additionally, I managed student correspondence and in-class activities for Dr. Long's research seminar.
Bensussen Deutsch & Associates (BDA) is one of the largest promotional merchandising companies in the country. They provide a wide range of merchandise, marketing consultation, e-commerce solutions, and much more to teams from every major league in the United States as well as some of Europe's premier sports brands.
As a Sports Activation Intern, I worked with the Sports division to create master promotional calendars for use in the strategic planning and preparation of orders. Beyond this, I also updated the team's competitor analysis profiles to identify gaps in the market and opportunities for new business.
USA Gymnastics is the national governing body for the sport in the United States. During the summer of 2021, USAG's focus has been the preparation and selection of the Olympic National Teams in all disciplines of the sport.
As a Partnerships Coordinator Intern, I worked with the Partnerships and Events teams to harbor strong relationships with USAG partners and ensure the delivery of promised activations and signage on-site. Additionally, I assisted in the planning and hosting of hospitality events for USA Gymnastics VIP's as well as current and prospective partners.
Leverage Agency is a sports, entertainment, and media marketing agency based in New York City. They have worked with many of the biggest organizations in the world, including American Pharaoh and several of the world's largest soccer teams.
As a partnership and research intern, I identified and studied prospective companies for global partnerships with soccer teams in the United States and Europe. I also participated in company outreach and strategy to connect international brands with sports teams around the globe.
Motley Zoo Animal Rescue is an animal shelter and care facility with the goal of preventing euthanizations and finding loving, secure homes for their dogs and cats. To date, Motley Zoo has helped nearly 3,500 pets find a home.
As a volunteer at Motley Zoo, I assisted in the oversight and care of both dogs and cats by feeding, grooming, and cleaning up after them throughout the day. I also assisted in front desk operations and communications.
